Small Business Are Struggling
Could you be allowing “professionalism” get in the way of your small business success? Over the last week, I found this issue coming up many times as I was visiting or skyping with some of my consulting clients.
What I noticed is the first concern regardless of whatever the task was “is it professional enough?”
Whether it was the email signature a client was creating, if they hired the right person, sometimes down to what type of pen an employee was using…..
You’re probably thinking “Are you serious?”
Sadly, yes I am.
The funny thing I realized, once my attention was on this last week, I was finding it almost everywhere I went.
So much that it became important to release a video about it to my coaching clients. And then I thought, why not give it to everyone.
Many people start businesses after working in big corporations or organizations like banks, etc. where personal image is at the forefront. They design their corporate culture around this image and with the layers of overhead, it can be overlooked at what a time and resource drain this can truly be.
Small businesses can not afford to build layers of overhead in order to show a professional image.
After you watch the video, let me know what you think below. I would definitely like to hear from you if you really make sure you are putting a professional foot forward at all times.
