How to Make a Video Smaller on Blogger

Hi, I’m Tina Brinkley Potts, and this is how to make a video smaller on Blogger. You may want to change the look of your blogs by making your videos just a little smaller so you can add more content in the way of words. So first you’re gonna log into your Blogger account, and you can select one of the blogs you already have done that you have video. The best trick to getting the video the right size is by actually pulling the URL over from YouTube with the size already the way you want it. So let’s go over to a YouTube video, and I’m gonna click the share button. Next, you’re going to see the word embed. Now, as you can see, the standard size right now is 853 by 480. However, you can click the drop-down box, and you can go even smaller. So I’m going to select the 560 by 315. That changed the embed for you. So now you just copy the embed. On a Mac we’re going to do comman+c. If you’re on a PC, you’re going to right-click and click copy. Then I’m going to go back over to my blog on Blogger, and I’m going to hit the HTML, and I’m going to add the code, the embed code. Here on a Mac I’m going to do command+v, and for a PC you’re going to right-click and then click paste. You just click publish save, and that’s it. And that is how to make a video smaller on Blogger.
