Hi, I’m Tina Brinkley Potts, and this is how to list your LinkedIn profile on a resume. You want to list your LinkedIn profile because LinkedIn is the largest social network for professionals. First, you want to go to your LinkedIn profile. You want to log into LinkedIn. Next, click your profile. Right below your profile picture you will see a link, that is the link that you want to put on your resume. So we’re gonna copy this link. On a Mac you want to use command+c, on a PC you would want to right-click and use the word copy. Once you’ve copied the URL, we’re gonna move over to the resume. I’m using a template in Word right now, and right below where your contact information, you want to add your LinkedIn URL. So I’m going to, because I’m on a Mac, I’m going to command+v to paste that in. And then if you’re on a PC, you’re going to right-click and then click paste. And of course you want to make sure you match the format to what you already have in your resume, and then you’re done. And that is how you add your LinkedIn profile to your resume.
