Turning Your Failures or Losses into Burning Desires
If you have experienced loss or failure in your life and it is stifling your life daily, it is my sincere wish that this video helps you.
Often times, I discover in my coaching sessions that my client’s success is stalled or blocked because of a loss or a perceived failure. Helping my client process the loss (regardless if the loss is a person, place, or thing) and create a new vision for their lives/businesses has always re-ignited his/her fire.
Sometimes this loss is simply they’ve worked with other coaches, internet marketers, strategists, virtual assistants, etc. and because of little or no results, they have anxiety and fear over trying again, feeling like someone has taken advantage of them, and the list goes on and on.
Sometimes it is much deeper than that. Sometimes it is because they lost their house, a loved one, their business – every moment from that point forward is framed through the lens of this loss.
I’ve experienced a lot of loss/failure in my life.
Both of my parents are deceased.
I’m divorced.
Lost my home.
Failed Businesses.
Even with all of this perceived loss and failure, my desire still burns deep and I let it fuel my fire. AND for as long of a list of loss/failures, I have successes that make loss/failures appear inconsequential.
A few days ago, I caught up with one of my long-time favorite clients, Paul, and asked him to discuss this very subject with me. Paul seemingly knows how to turn losses into burning desires. He is a 4 time champion high school baseball coach, nationally recognized pitching coach, and a great family man. We sat down in his environment (in a dugout) and discussed wins vs. losses.
In the words of the late and great Dr. Maya Angelou “Have enough courage to trust love just one more time and always one more time”. Let the word “love” represent whatever it is for you. If you want to be a business owner, try just one more time. If you are looking for a loving relationship, try just one more time. If you want to change the world, try just one more time.
