Eat that Frog!
I know this sounds crazy but this is one of the most important skills that I have learned in my life.
Brian Tracy gives an excellent time management strategy in this video.
This is so important because my version of “Eat that frog” is you must do the thing that has your attention first so it isn’t draining your energy for the rest of the day.
Let me give you an example. You want to go in and ask your boss for a raise. Now most people wait until the end of the day to do this. But what happens is they are going over this meeting in their head over and over again to the point that the whole day was pretty much a waste,
If you tackle this task first, not only will you have not wasted a whole day’s energy on it, but you will also empower yourself and feel like you approached the giant or as Brian Tracy says, “Eat that Frog”
