I absolutely agree. But let’s take it one step farther: This music has stood the test of time. I’m sure Earth Wind & Fire are on many playlists all over the world. The songs that make you move your feet, shake your hips – no matter your ethnicity. This music truly unites people.

The songs that inspire you to go after your dreams like Fantasy, Keep Your Head To The Sky, In The Stone or Imagination. Songs of love like I’ll Write A Song For You, Love’s holiday or Devotion or even songs about the state of the world like That’s The Way Of The World.

These songs would blast the speakers as my parents and my relatives would play Spades, trash talk and reminisce about days gone by.

But my all time favorite song by Earth Wind & Fire is Shining Star. Daily, I help my clients, especially women, peel back the layers of hiding, shame, guilt and fear so they can go out into the world and be who they were truly meant to be. You know, all of the crap someone else said, all of the judgement placed upon you and the need to be accepted. Teaching them that has to come from within. Yes, we are about helping them make money but that is a side effect. The true work is teaching them how to shine again.
