When you are doing an online marketing program, it is important to have an irresistible offer. An irresistible offer is something you give in exchange for your prospective clients to give you their information. In this video, I moderate two online marketing experts, Kris Berggren of Local Lynx Marketing and Mary Borse of Big Dogz Marketing as we discuss the important components of an irresistible offer.
What Are the components of an irresistible offer for online marketing campaigns?
- Identify who you want on your list – Everyone is not an effective strategy. I know many small business owners will say “everyone can use my product or service” but that is not an effective marketing strategy. When you try to make your marketing efforts fit “everyone” it tends to water down what will attract your prospective clients to your small business quickly.
- What does your ideal client struggle with? Most of the time, we as consumers are looking for a solution to our problem. By becoming the expert solution provider to your prospective clients, you are setting yourself up for a great online presence.
- What do they want or need? Once you have identified who you want on your list in online marketing, what do they want? do they need? Give it to them.
- Must deliver high value – I think Kris Berggren said it best in this discussion: you want your offer so good, you really want to charge for it. I know many people try to keep their best stuff but in online marketing, you want to build a relationship with your audience. Do you want your relationship to be based on holding back? Or do you want to be the person that delivers information that the prospective client can trust?
